About this file

The file contains Salient Characteristics for a Computed Radiography Unit solicited by the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces under Solicitation Number FA521525Q0006. The comprehensive equipment specifications outline detailed requirements for a complete computed radiography system, including a reader/eraser, desktop computer, 3MP monitor, imaging plates in multiple sizes (14x17 and 8x10 inches), flexible and rigid cassettes, digital plate carriers, screen cleaners, and accessory equipment like a cassette extraction tool and image quality indicator set.

The system must be compatible with Air Force's Automated Computed Radiography Evaluation Software, capable of capturing radiation input signals and converting them to optical signals for crack detection and welder certification. Additional technical requirements include the ability to hook up to a 110v outlet, fit within an 11 x 18 ft room, and include full delivery, installation, and training services. The equipment is designed for precise radiographic imaging, with components specifically engineered to preserve maximum object information and support various technical inspection and certification processes.
