About this file
This document is an Addendum for a state and local contract opportunity issued by the North Dakota Department of Water Resources and the North Dakota State Water Commission for a pipeline condition assessment project in Ward and McLean Counties, North Dakota. The project involves performing pressure testing and potential leak repairs on the Northwest Area Water Supply main transmission pipeline. Key details include revisions to the bid response deadline, bid response hold duration, and bid opening date, as well as changes to the specifications regarding pressure testing procedures, leak detection, and excavation work. The project is designated as Contract SA 97 with a substantial completion date of May 15, 2025 and final completion date of June 30, 2025.
The bid schedule includes two contracts - Contract No. 1 for Pressure Testing and Contract No. 2 for Leak Repairs. Bid prices are requested on a lump sum and unit cost basis, with the quantity of leak repair work to be determined based on the results of the pressure testing. The contract documents indicate the owner reserves the right to remove pipeline segments from the pressure testing scope. No claims or adjustments will be considered solely based on bid item quantities or elimination.
