Vendor Questions 003 - 8/27/2024:

1. Vendor Question: Scope of Work: The scope includes replacing 2 interior and 3 exterior cameras. The monitor image shows at least 12 cameras. Will any cameras be decommissioned without removal of the camera or wiring by us?

2. Vendor Question: Camera Specifications: Have specific camera manufacturers been designated?

2. Government Response: We cannot specify a certain manufacturer of cameras. The only thing we can require is that they are in compliance with Contract Clause specifications and restrictions.

3. Vendor Question: Cable Specifications: Should we assume that existing coaxial cables will be replaced with new Category 6 cables for this RFQ?

3. Government Response: Correct, new CAT 6 cable is required.

7. Vendor Question: UPS Requirements: Is a UPS power supply required for the NVR and the client workstation? If so, please provide the specifications.

7. Government Response: The NVR and client station should each have a dedicated UPS that provides power for at least 15 minutes in order to allow for an orderly shutdown of the system in the event of a power failure.

8. Vendor Question: Client Station Specifications: Are there specifications for the

8. Government Response: The NVR will be located in the IT closet and the client station will be located at the direction of the end user.

9. Vendor Question: Door Entry System: Is there an existing door entry system that needs to be removed and replaced? If so, does power exist at the door?

9. Government Response: The access control system is not being removed or replaced, that falls under the landlord. Only the video intercom system.

10. Vendor Question: Door Station Configuration: Will the door station ring to a single master station? Are there two door stations or just one at the main door?

10. Government Response: There are two video intercom door stations on the second floor, one by the main entrance as you get off the elevator and a second one by the doors near the restrooms. There are also two master stations/sub stations inside the space. The system is also tied into the landlord’s system that is down in the main lobby when visitors first come into the building.
