Policy Statements

I. Professional standards of dress are to be observed at all times. Employees must be neat and well-groomed and they should be dressed in a manner that is appropriate for the work environment.

II. Employees are prohibited from wearing the following clothing: denim jeans (inside secure areas), sweatshirts, athletic clothing, mini-skirts, beach shoes, halter tops, spandex, and any casual wear.

Depending on the outfit, other items of clothing may be determined to be inappropriate for the workplace. Questions concerning the standards applied in any particular work area should be addressed to the appropriate supervisor for a response.
