3. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide snow removal services, including but not limited to plowing, brooming/brushing, and ice management, to cover all streets and parking lots within the MGVAMC.

ii. If snow removal services are expected to take longer than anticipated, the contractor shall notify the COR or VA Point of Contact in advance and coordinate appropriately. Reasons for longer than anticipated timeframes are only limited to increase snowfall and/or hazardous conditions.
Equipment and/or manpower issues are not valid reasons for longer completion timeframes.
c. De-icing:
i. De-icing shall be performed following the completion of snow removal, provided that snowfall has ceased by 6:00AM.
d. Responsiveness:
i. The contractor shall be responsive to sudden snowfall events of more than one inch. The contractor is required to begin snow removal operations promptly to ensure minimal disruption to the daily operations of the medical facility.
ii. Once notified by COR or VA Point of Contact, contractor shall respond between hours of 4:30PM and 4:00AM to complete all snow removal and deicing activities.
e. Equipment and Materials:
i. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, including snowplows, broom/ brush trucks, granular spreaders, shovels and any other machinery and equipment required/necessary to effectively remove snow and ice.

6. Point of Contacts
a. The VA contact is the Boiler plant operator available 24/7 at 509-434-7414.
b. The contractor will designate a point of contact who shall be available 24/7 via telephone to respond to any urgent requests or emergencies related to snow removal services. The Contractor shall proceed diligently with performance of this contract, pending final resolution of any dispute arising under the contract.
