About this file

This document includes a justification and approval for other than full and open competition and a related federal contract opportunity notice for solicitation number 36C25021B0004_1. The justification and approval document relates to a construction contract requiring Corbin Russwin removable core locking cylinders for a project to renovate and reconfigure clinical services spaces at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. The medical center requires a single grand master key system for patient and staff safety reasons, and changing to a different locking system would delay emergency access. The estimated value of the locking cylinders is $100,000. The related solicitation is for the renovation and reconfiguration project between $1 million to $5 million. The solicitation is a 100% set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The deadline for requests for information is April 28, 2021 and bids are to be evaluated based on price.
