About this file

This document is a Contractor Certification form for the Immigration and Nationality Act compliance, specifically related to a Department of Veterans Affairs contract. The certification requires contractors to strictly adhere to immigration laws when employing non-immigrant foreign nationals working on VA patient referral services. Key compliance requirements include: not knowingly employing illegal aliens, ensuring foreign nationals maintain legal status, complying with E-Verify requirements under Executive Order 12989, and meeting federal acquisition regulations.

The certification outlines significant consequences for non-compliance, including potential prohibition of non-compliant foreign nationals from working at VA service locations and possible contract termination for breach. Contractors must obtain similar certifications from their subcontractors and understand that false certifications could result in prosecution under 18 U.S.C. 1001. This document is associated with Solicitation Number 36C25725Q0614 for HCHV with Medical Respite Care in Dallas, TX, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 17.
