About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) solicitation for ACEP-WRE Emergent Wetland Seeding in Clark County, Illinois, with solicitation number 12FPC125Q0056. The Q&A covers key project details including contractor responsibilities for seeding, site preparation, and quality control. Hydroseeding is acceptable, and most sites can be seeded with a no-till drill, though site accessibility may depend on water levels and weather conditions. The contractor will be responsible for determining site preparation methods, and while fertilizer and mulching are not expected, alternative or replacement seed species may be necessary as determined by the Contracting Officer (CO). NRCS will conduct site-specific inspections, and weather has been factored into the period of performance, with potential modifications for extreme weather events.
