About this file

This document appears to be a Question and Answer (Q&A) session regarding an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of fresh ground beef by the state of Arkansas, specifically the jurisdictions of Pulaski County and the City of Little Rock. The IFB is seeking one supplier to provide approximately 500,000 lbs of 70/30 coarse ground beef, with a delivery timeframe of every 2-3 weeks. The contract term is for one year, with the state open to considering price increases at the time of renewal. Regarding pricing, the state requires a firm price for the initial one-year term, and the total 7-year cost projections can include an average of 10% annual increases to account for market fluctuations in beef prices.

The IFB does not mention any set-asides for specific business types, such as Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The state is not open to allowing price fluctuations within the initial one-year contract term, and the supplier must provide a firm price for that period.
