About this file
This document is a Q&A response related to a state and local contract opportunity issued by the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) for the Emergency Operation Center Audio Visual Enhancement and Upgrade project. The project involves upgrading the audio visual equipment in various rooms at ADEM's facilities, including the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC), training rooms, and conference rooms. The IFB allows contractors to utilize existing equipment or replace it as needed, and requires full integration of all new and existing equipment into a new software-based system. The project has a 1-year warranty requirement and does not require prevailing wage. Responses are due by a specific date, and the awarded contractor must coordinate installation schedules with ADEM to avoid disrupting operations.
The contract is taxable at 7.5% for the relevant zip code, and final payment terms will be negotiated prior to contract execution. ADEM will be responsible for providing power and infrastructure, while the contractor is responsible for networking and cabling requirements. The contractor must also provide 4-hour response times during normal business hours for non-emergency support, with additional emergency response requirements. Deliveries must be made during normal business hours.
