About this file

This document contains Questions and Answers related to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the State of Oregon, Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), for Lenel OnGuard Card Lock Access System Updates, Equipment, Installation, and Maintenance. The RFP outlines the need for troubleshooting, maintenance, and a license renewal plan for the existing Lenel system, which currently has 38 readers at the VIP Tech Center and 80 readers at the Lloyd location, with plans to expand to additional geographically distant locations. The successful vendor will be responsible for determining the method of procedure and license requirements for migrating the databases of the two existing Lenel OnGuard servers into a single software instance. The initial contract term is anticipated to be five (5) years with options to renew up to a maximum of ten (10) years.

The RFP indicates that the DEQ does not currently have any integrations between the existing Lenel systems and other systems. The number of cardholders is 685 at the Lloyd location and 160 at the VIP Tech Center. The RFP does not provide specific pricing terms, set-asides, or funding information. However, it states that the DEQ anticipates awarding one (1) contract from this solicitation to a vendor that can provide the required services.
