About this file
This is a Pricing Requirements document for a Pest Control contract with the State. The contract is structured as a four-year base term with two optional extension years. Vendors must submit a single fixed monthly price for each of the four base contract years. The monthly fixed price must encompass all services described in the Statement of Work, including routine treatments, monitoring, emergency response, documentation, and compliance activities. Vendors have the discretion to provide pricing for the two optional extension years; if pricing is provided for these extensions, those rates will establish the maximum allowable charges should the State exercise its right to extend the contract. Conversely, if a vendor elects not to provide pricing for the optional years, the State is contractually limited to the four base years only and cannot extend beyond that period.
Pricing submissions must clearly identify any exclusions or additional charges, if applicable, though a detailed cost breakdown is not required. The monthly fixed price structure ensures cost predictability for the State throughout the contract term. Vendors electing to provide optional year pricing effectively lock in those rates as ceiling prices, providing the State with rate certainty should extension years be exercised. The pricing framework emphasizes simplicity in submission while requiring transparency regarding any services or costs not included in the base monthly fee.

Text version
Pricing Requirements Vendors shall provide a single fixed monthly price for each of the four (4) base contract years.
Vendors may also choose to provide pricing for the two (2) optional extension years. If a vendor elects to include pricing for the optional years, those prices must be fixed and will determine the maximum allowable rates should the State choose to exercise the extension years. If a vendor elects not to provide pricing for the optional years, the State may not extend the contract beyond the four (4) base years.
A detailed cost breakdown is not required; however, vendors must clearly identify any exclusions or additional charges, if applicable. The monthly fixed price must include all services described in the Statement of Work, including routine treatments, monitoring, emergency response, documentation, and compliance activities.
