About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Oregon Business Development Department for a Booster Pump to support the Dredge Program, which maintains an existing hydraulic cutterhead swinging ladder dredge and conducts maintenance operations at Oregon public ports. The Addendum provides responses to several questions received, clarifying that proposers should include delivery costs in their bids, use the Charleston Marina Complex office address for delivery, and not include sales tax, as Oregon does not have a sales tax. Proposers may use their own quote format, and there is no missing content, just an error in the page numbering at the end of the RFP document.
The RFP seeks the services of an individual or firm to provide a booster pump to enable the Dredge Program to pump sedimentation removed from various marina locations to permitted disposal sites. The budget for this solicitation is firm, and Business Oregon will work with the selected proposer to provide any required tax documentation.

Addendum #1 to RFP No. OBDD RFP No. RS1506-J OregonBuys Open Market Bid S-12300-00002332 “Booster Pump for Dredge Support”
The Oregon Business Development Department has received several questions regarding the requested goods and services, and we wish to provide responses to the questions received to date. None of these answers modify or add to the directions in the RFP document, but may provide useful information for drafting a proposal.
Thanks for your continued efforts and interest.
| Q1A. | Should proposers include deliver costs in the bid amount given that RFP Attachment B list “FOB Destination”? |
| A1. | Yes. The budget listed in the solicitation is firm. |
| Q2. | What is the specific delivery address? |
| A2. | Please use the Charleston Marina Complex office address. |
Charleston Marina Office 63534 Kingfisher Rd.
Charleston, OR 97420.
| Q3. | Should proposers include sales tax based on the delivery location? |
| A3. | No. Oregon does not have a sales tax and Business Oregon will work with the selected proposer to provide any required documentation to other states’ tax agencies. |
| Q4. | Should proposers use the Bid Detail Sheet to submit offers or would the suppliers standard quote form be acceptable? |
| A4. | Any format the proposer finds appropriate to submit their bid details will be acceptable to Business Oregon so long as it complies with the other requirements of the RFP. |
| Q5. | The pagination appears to be off at the end of the RFP. Is this an error or are there missing pages? |
| A5. | This was an error in the editing process. There are no missing pages in the RFP document, but the page number is off at the end of the document. We regret the mistake. |
