THIS IS A SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY

Adams and Associates, Inc., contracting for the U.S. Department of Labor, for the operation of the Red Rock Job Corps Center, is currently soliciting written proposals for the subcontracted operation of the Career Transition Services for the Red Rock Job Corps Center.

Job Corps is a national residential and non-residential training and employment program administered by the Department of Labor to address the multiple barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged youth ages 16-24 years throughout the United States.

It is anticipated that the resultant subcontract will be a performance based subcontract for Career Transition Services. The subcontract will have a 1 year base period beginning on May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013 plus two (2) unilateral renewal options for one (1) year each.

The subcontractor will provide Career Transition Services (CTS) to 1,200 returning and relocating youth to the following geographical area: Eastern Pennsylvania (1,000 graduates and 200 former enrollees).

A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM local time at the Eastern Pennsylvania Career Transition Services. The facility is located at 1528 Walnut Street, Suite 1502, Philadelphia, PA 19102; contact number is 410-964-2888, attention: Theresa Layton. The request for proposal (RFP) will be available only to attendees of the pre-proposal conference. All questions at the pre-proposal conference must be submitted in writing. Only attendees of the pre-proposal conference may submit a proposal for consideration.

Proposals in response to the RFP will consist of a written submission as described in the RFP. All written proposal submissions shall be due no later than March 15, 2012 at 4:00PM EST to the address listed in the RFP. Adams and Associates, Inc. reserves the right to reject any bids and select the bid deemed most responsible. Bidders should be aware of bid requirements for federally funded projects and comply accordingly.
