Route 8 Emergency Service Patrol – Bid Tabulation Summary
This is a bid tabulation document for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 3 procuring Emergency Service Patrol services for East/West locations on an as-needed basis. The procurement was issued under Bid Number DOT-ITB-26-3012-CS with an opening date of March 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The bid was posted from March 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM through March 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The contract encompasses qualified vendors to provide emergency service patrol response to incidents at designated East/West locations, with service deliverables structured according to specified requirements. The procurement was opened by Chrissy Sims and witnessed by Karen Woodham, with evaluation conducted by Chad Williams.
Three bidders submitted proposals: El-Sankary Towing, LLC at $150.00; Eastern Diesel Auto Wrecker Service at $150.00; and White's Wrecker Service, LLC at $300.00. El-Sankary Towing, LLC was selected as the intended award recipient based on the lowest responsive bid. The award was made using an in-state preference determination in accordance with Florida Statutes Section 287.084. The document notes that no binding contract exists until FDOT issues a Purchase Order or written acceptance, and the Department reserves the right to award to the second-low bidder, reject all bids, or take other action in its interest if irregularities are discovered or the awarded vendor fails to submit required bonds, insurance, or comply with bid requirements. Funding for this procurement derives from various FDOT budget sources, with no specific award value or budget range disclosed in the tabulation.
