Three bidders responded to this procurement: El-Sankary Towing, LLC at $150.00, Eastern Diesel Auto Wrecker Service at $150.00, and White's Wrecker Service, LLC at $300.00. The intended award was made to El-Sankary Towing, LLC at the lowest bid price of $150.00, with the award determination utilizing an In-State Preference in accordance with Florida Statutes Section 287.084. The evaluation was conducted by Chad Williams. The Department reserves the right to reject all bids, award to the second-lowest bidder, or act in the best interest of the Department if irregularities are discovered or if the awarded vendor fails to submit required bonds, insurance, or otherwise fails to comply with bid requirements. No binding contract exists until a formal Purchase Order or written acceptance is issued by the Department. The funding source is designated as "Various" within FDOT's budget, indicating that emergency service patrol costs are distributed across multiple departmental operations.
