About this file
This is a Bid Tabulation document from the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 3 for Emergency Service Patrol services at East/West locations on an as-needed basis under Bid Number DOT-ITB-26-3013-CS. The procurement sought qualified vendors to provide emergency service patrol response to incidents at specified East/West locations, with bids due on March 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The bid opening was conducted on March 11, 2026, with posting occurring from March 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. through March 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Four vendors submitted bids for consideration. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, contingent upon successful submission of required bonds and insurance documentation and compliance with all bid requirements.
Four bidders submitted proposals with the following pricing: El-Sankary Towing, LLC at $150.00; Eastern Diesel Auto Wrecker Service at $150.00; Mallory Towing & Recovery, Inc. at $175.50; and White's Wrecker Service, LLC at $300.00. El-Sankary Towing, LLC received the intended award based on lowest pricing and in-state preference considerations in accordance with Florida Statutes Section 287.084. The procurement funding is designated as "Various," indicating that emergency service patrol costs are distributed across multiple FDOT operations and locations. No specific set-asides or restrictions limiting responses to particular organization types were identified. The Department reserves the right to award to the second-lowest bidder, reject all bids, or take other action in its best interest if irregularities are discovered or if the apparent awardee fails to meet bonding, insurance, or other compliance requirements.
