About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document (Amendment 2) for a furniture removal and disposal contract at Robins Air Force Base. The Q&A clarifies that there is no government-designated off-base disposal site, no specific restrictions on disposal facilities, and no documentation requirements for the disposal process. Contractors must provide their own dumpsters, and while a site visit is scheduled for January 21, 2025, it is not mandatory. Background checks will be conducted in person upon arrival, with felony convictions preventing access. The government anticipates making the contract award by the end of January 2025.
The related opportunity details indicate this is a firm-fixed-price contract for hauling and disposing of furniture, demountable walls, and miscellaneous office items from inside a building to an offsite location. Questions are due by January 22, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST, and the solicitation closes on January 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST. The contract will be awarded by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center, though funds are not currently available for the effort. Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov to be considered for award.
