About this file

This is an email approval document from Collier County's Risk Management division regarding insurance requirements for FY27 Playground Inspection Services. The Parks & Recreation Division has issued an informal competition Quick Quote (QQ) solicitation for playground inspection services, with each park to be inspected twice yearly. The Parks & Recreation Division requested confirmation that the 2024 insurance requirements remain appropriate for the FY27 contract, and Risk Management approved the continuation of the same insurance coverage specifications. The document does not specify response dates, award dates, or contract term information.

The insurance requirements mandated for this solicitation include Worker's Compensation at statutory limits, Employer's Liability at $100,000 single limit, Commercial General Liability at $1,000,000 single limit per occurrence with $2,000,000 aggregate, Automobile Liability at $500,000 each occurrence, and indemnification coverage. Collier County must be named as an additional insured on the Commercial General Liability certificate, and subcontractors must comply with identical insurance requirements. A 30-day cancellation notice is required on all certificates. Vendors must submit evidence of insurability within five days of notification of recommended award. The document indicates this is a repeat procurement with the same specifications as the 2024 solicitation, suggesting continuity in service requirements and pricing structure, though specific contract value, funding sources, and other financial terms are not detailed in this approval correspondence.
