Additional Questions RFQ-RML-C-1802996 NIH Main Campus Bethesda AVT Upgrade

1. May offerors submit the required proof of corporate certifications in an Appendix which would be excluded from page limits?

Appendices are excluded from the Volume I Technical Quote page count.

1. During the site surveys, we were informed that USB extenders need to be USB 3.0 capable. The USB extenders on the LOM are only USB 2.0. Is it correct to assume that offerors should substitute units that are USB 3.0 capable?

The BOM and SOW have been updated to require USB 3.0 extenders, plates & panels. The parts specified can be substituted with other suitable USB 3.0 solutions.

1. Would the Contractors be able to stage equipment and complete installs continuously vs. stop and start approach described when awarded multiple rooms?

Contractor cannot assume there is a place to store equipment nor tools.

The schedule will be created by NIAID and the winning contractor together post award. We will identify rooms that require work from NIAID facilities and put those rooms near the end of the schedule while rooms with little to no NIAID facilities work will be at the beginning. But the awarded contractor can only work on one room at a time before moving on to the next conference room upgrade.
