Text version
The Government has received the following questions and have provided the following answers:
Q: 1.Is there an incumbent for this work or is this a new effort?
A: No, this is a new effort.
Q: 2. In regards to the estimated quantities, can you say how many of each type of kit are expected to be ordered on an emergency basis and how many under normal delivery? This greatly impacts stocking levels and therefore price of the kits.
A: The Government is committing to an immediate award of 25 Individual ESF-13 Kits indicated in the SOW. The kits will be ordered on an as needed basis for the duration of the BPA. The Government will not be committing to a set number of any of the kits as deployment is dynamic requiring potentially different kits and equipment.
Q: 3.Does the Government intend to make a single award for this requirement?
A: Yes, this shall be a single award BPA.
Q: 4. Appendix A – Equipment List – Line item 80 for Zip Ties calls for a 100 pack but the part number (8210-1-10C) is actually 100 X 10 packs. Does the customer want 100 zip ties or 1000 zip ties?
A: The part number 100 X 10 is correct. The list provided in the solicitation is accurate.
Q: 5. Will the customer grant a one week extension as questions have not been answered?
A: The Government will not grant a one week extension. The solicitation was listed for a total of two weeks, in which the questions were due at the mid-point (4/11/19). Therefore, any questions received after the deadline are late, and thus will not have any effect on the quote submissions deadline of 4/18/19.
