Text version

1) Can you provide a breakdown of the number of aircraft by ICAP member?

Attached is a copy of the 2008 Federal Aircraft Report that provides the number of aircraft by agency. Also attached is a list of ICAP voting members.

2) Can you provide a breakdown of type of aircraft by number and ICAP member, as well as what the aircraft is used for?

See 2008 Federal Aircraft Report.

3) Since the magnitude of any task order is unknown, can we bid each required task on a "per aircraft" basis to respond competitively on this RFQ?

Proposed pricing for work performed should include all major categories to address the requirements of the Statement of Work. At a minimum, the proposal should contain hourly rates for technical consultants and experts; indirect rates, and overhead rates. For tasks that involve specific aircraft at a specific location, you may identify the cost “per aircraft.”

4) How many studies were conducted last year?

In 2008, two studies were conducted.

5) How many man hours were used last year?

GSA does not have this information, as the tasks and financial arrangements are handled between the agency and the contractor.

6) What were typical tasks performed?

Aircraft studies for replacing aircraft

Cost/Benefit analysis of aviation assistance Market analysis for lease of aircraft Business Case Analysis
