About this file

This document is Addendum 1 for RFQ #713066 issued by the University of Washington Bothell Marketing and Communications department, seeking a music/sound effects licensing service for video projects. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicits a music licensing supplier that can provide tracks for various communication and marketing purposes across multiple distribution platforms, including web, digital ads, TV, cTV, and OTT. The contract is structured for a one-year or two-year term, with the estimated value of $10,000 for a two-year period. One to two users will access the licensing platform through a shared departmental email, and the service is not required to be royalty-free, though the vendor will provide one-stop licensing with full track ownership.

The addendum clarifies several key details through a question and answer format, including that the licensing will require a flat fee not based on actual file downloads, and that additional assets like video or graphic templates are not required. The evaluation process will not include individual bidder meetings, and proposed edits to the University's General Terms and Conditions will be reviewed and negotiated with the apparent successful bidder after the selection is made. The RFQ indicates flexibility in distribution platforms and seeks a comprehensive music licensing solution that can support the university's diverse video project needs across various communication channels.

In the WEBS Bidding Opportunity email I received, under Estimated Value it has 10,000. Is that the estimated value of the entire term of the agreement, potentially 10 years if all options are exercised, or for 1 year? The RFQ says that that a we should state the price for a 1 year and a 2 year agreement so is the estimated value based on 1, 2 or up to 10 years?
$10,000 is an estimate for 2 years.
