About this file
This is Addendum 1 for RFQ #713066, issued by the University of Washington Bothell for a Music License Service for Video Projects. The solicitation seeks a music and sound effects licensing supplier to support the university's marketing and communications video production needs. The contract is for a one to two-year term, with an estimated value of $10,000 for two years. The licensing will support various distribution platforms, including organic web, paid digital ads, TV, cTV, and OTT channels. One to two users will access the licensing platform through a shared departmental email, and the library is not royalty-free but offers one-stop licensing with a flat fee structure.
The addendum includes responses to bidder questions, clarifying key aspects of the procurement. The music library provider will pay royalties to artists and composers, and the license does not require additional assets beyond music and sound effects. The evaluation process does not include individual bidder meetings, and proposed edits to the general terms and conditions will be reviewed with the apparent successful bidder after the initial award. The university seeks a comprehensive music licensing solution that can support their diverse video project needs across multiple communication channels.

| In the WEBS Bidding Opportunity email I received, under Estimated Value it has 10,000. Is that the estimated value of the entire term of the agreement, potentially 10 years if all options are exercised, or for 1 year? The RFQ says that that a we should state the price for a 1 year and a 2 year agreement so is the estimated value based on 1, 2 or up to 10 years? |
| $10,000 is an estimate for 2 years. |
