About this file
This document is an Amendment #2 to a Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by the State of Alaska's Department of Public Safety, Division of Administrative Services, for a St. Mary's Hangar Lease. The RFQ is identified by the number 25AC1121B and was issued on August 27, 2025. The amendment clarifies and modifies three key requirements: the AVGAS tank, tug, and bathroom are now preferred but not mandatory. Potential offerors are required to sign and return the amendment document with their proposal, with a warning that failure to do so may result in proposal rejection.
The amendment includes a clarification regarding state procurement rules, explaining that the Department is required to seek quotes for lease spaces and purchases instead of providing a predetermined rate. The State indicates willingness to pay a reasonable market rate for the hangar lease in the specified area. This suggests flexibility in pricing and encourages competitive bidding from potential lessors. The document maintains the original RFQ's terms and conditions, with only the specified changes being implemented, thereby providing potential bidders with updated guidance on the hangar lease opportunity.
