RFQ100-0006-07, Medical Adjudication Services

Dear Offeror:

The Federal Bureau of Prisons invites contractors to submit quotes for services described in the attached statement of work, under the authority of Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Enclosed you will find a Statement of Work for Medical Adjudication Services. Please submit quotes by July 20, 2007, 2:00 p.m. (EDST). This RFQ in no way obligates the U.S. Government to award a contract, nor does it commit the U.S. Government to pay any cost incurred in preparing and submitting quotations. The selection process will consist of a Best Value source selection based on technical approach, experience, past performance, and price. Under a Best Value source selection, non-price evaluation factors, when combined are significantly more important than price. Healthcare providers currently providing health care services to the BOP under contract, purchase order, or other service agreement, whether directly and/or indirectly, are precluded from participating in this solicitation/contract. This is a firm-fixed price Requirements type contract and will be awarded to a single provider. The precise period of performance will be determined at the time of award. Quotes submitted in response to this RFQ will be received via regular mail and hand carried/courier. Quotes may also be forwarded to the following:
