About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) R15AD023 issued by the California Department of Parks and Recreation on April 1, 2016 for Resource Specialists Professional Services for Projects within California State Parks. The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) submission deadline is April 12, 2016. The RFQ seeks qualified firms to provide environmental specialist services in the southern service area.
The addendum clarifies that firms submitting proposals for the Environmental Specialist contract may include subconsultants on their team to provide necessary expertise in areas like traffic services. It specifically states that the selected Environmental Specialist contractor will not have access to technical services from firms selected under separate Environmental Scientist, Archaeologist, or Historian contracts - any firms providing these specialized services must be included as part of the proposing team's submission.

1. Questions (Q) and Answers (A) submitted:
1) Q: I’m submitting a question for clarification on the above referenced Bid Number. We’re interested in submitting for the Environmental Specialist contract in the southern service area. For those firms that don’t have all the disciplines in-house to address the various technical requirements that may be needed to prepare the environmental documents, traffic services for example, is it appropriate to include subconsultants on our team with the expertise needed? Further, will the firm selected for the Environmental Specialist contract have access to technical services offered by other firms selected for the Environmental Scientist, Archaeologist, Historian contract or should firms with that expertise be included on the team as well? Please advise.
A: Yes, it is appropriate to include subconsultants on your team with the expertise needed.
The firm selected for the Environmental Specialist contract will not have access to technical services offered by other firms selected for the Environmental Scientist, Archaeologist or Historian contracts. Firms with that expertise must be included on the team as well.
