About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs for off-grounds dry storage services at the Illinois Veterans' Home Chicago (IVHC). The contract seeks a vendor to provide indoor, climate-controlled storage for up to 30 pallets per month, with items including paper products, medical supplies, furniture, and non-perishable food items. The storage facility must be within 50 miles of IVHC, with weekly deliveries coordinated between the vendor and IVHC staff. The contract will be for a 12-month term, commencing on 7/1/2025 or upon final signatures, with the vendor responsible for loading and unloading pallets and maintaining liability insurance for stored items.

The RFQ requires vendors to submit quotes that are valid for 90 days, with all expenses, shipping, and handling charges included in the pricing. No price increases will be accepted, and the state reserves the right to reject offers that do not meet requirements. Electronic submissions are preferred through email or BidBuy, with quotes to be sent to Robin Webster at robin.webster2@illinois.gov. The vendor selection will be based on the ability to provide all required supplies and services while offering the lowest price, with the state maintaining the right to cancel up to 72 hours in advance.
