About this file
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation (Request for Quote N6660425Q0253) for a sole-source procurement of L3CE Coolers by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport. The requirement involves purchasing 30 coolers (P/N 708B418A-0174) in CLIN 0001, with an additional 30-unit option (CLIN 0002) to support IR Module repairs, with delivery to NUWCDIVNPT in Newport, RI. The acquisition is being conducted under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334419 with a small business size standard of 750 employees.
Key submission details include electronic quote submission via email to Kenneth Chaffey by July 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST, with quotes requiring a 90-day validity period. Contractors must have an active SAM registration, provide unique item identifiers for items over $5,000, and accept electronic payment through Wide Area Workflow. The government justifies the sole-source approach by stating that procuring coolers from a source other than L3CE would result in cost duplication and unacceptable fleet support delays. Quotes must include item prices, shipping costs, delivery terms, point of contact information, CAGE Code, and SAM Unique Entity ID.
