Rev. 6/3/22
Needed Service or Supply: Replace Furnace and Air Conditioner in Park Office
Ordering Location and Address: 3790 State Route 370, Yellow Springs, Ohio, 45387
Project Background: The heat exchanger is worn out and thus the furnace needs to be replaced. The furnace is from 1997 and is outdated. The repairs would be costly and only putting off the replacement for a short time. The replacement is needed to avoid frozen pipes and to make the office comfortable for staff and park patrons. We would also like to replace the heat pump/air conditioner since both systems are from 1997. This would be a better approach then waiting for the other system to have issues in the future.
Specifications/Scope of Work:
The new furnace needs to be replaced with a 60K BTU Gas Furnace, 3.5 Ton Blower, 17inch. 96% Efficient energy start certified. New furnace is required to have a manufacturer’s warranty and one year labor warranty. The furnace should work with the existing thermostat and does not need to be cover under warranty. The new furnace should be installed with 16x25x1 filter rack. Remove all necessary parts from existing gas valve and install a conversion kit for furnace equipment to be operated of liquid propane. Proper venting should be check and fixed to make sure the furnace runs the most efficient. All operations should be tested for good operation.
The air conditioner should have a 15SEER rating with a 2-ton heat pump. This would be a replacement for the heat pump that the office currently has on site. Use existing electric, gas, venting and drain connections.
