About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Quincy Illinois Veterans Home for inline filters. The solicitation seeks 36 units of two specific filter types: HC/170-5 (5-micron filter for stage 1) and HC-PP-170-0.2 (0.2-micron filter for stage 2 and bypass), with specific technical requirements including flow rates, micron ratings, and reduction capabilities for chlorine and THMs. The filters must be compatible with existing HARMSCO HUR3X170FL-XP canisters at the facility. Vendors are required to submit quotes electronically through BidBuy or email to Chantel Baker, with submissions valid for 90 days and expected to include all shipping and handling charges.
The RFQ specifies that all products must be new and carry a minimum 1-year warranty from the delivery date. Deliveries are accepted Monday through Friday, 7 am-3 pm, at a facility equipped with a leveling dock. The procurement process allows the agency to reject all offers and select a vendor based on the lowest price while meeting all specified requirements. The solicitation emphasizes electronic submission compliance with state procurement guidelines, with quotes to be submitted prior to the due date listed in BidBuy. No price increases will be accepted, and the state reserves the right to cancel the procurement up to 72 hours in advance.
