About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) from the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) for the procurement of disposable disinfecting wipes. IDHS is seeking to purchase re-closable tubs of disinfecting wipes, with no more than 400 wipes per tub. Vendors must provide the EPA registration number for their product, which must be included on List N for disinfectants effective against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Vendors are required to submit a photo of the entire product label, including the EPA registration number. Pricing must be provided per sheet/wipe, carried out to the third decimal point, with delivery to DesPlaines, IL. Samples may be requested by IDHS for evaluation after review of pricing and photos. IDHS reserves the right to award to multiple vendors and to purchase more or less wipes than estimated, depending on pricing.

Regarding pricing, vendors are not required to bid on the entire quantity of wipes. IDHS will select the winning vendor(s) based on the lowest total bid. All quoted prices must be valid for 90 days from the date of submission, and no price increases will be accepted. IDHS reserves the right to reject any or all offers, and to waive minor defects. Vendors may be required to submit evidence of their qualifications, and bids from non-responsible vendors will be rejected.
