About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) from the State of Illinois Chief Procurement Officer for General Services on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs - Illinois Veterans' Home Chicago. The RFQ seeks a vendor to inspect and test 137 electric motorized fire/smoke dampers and 8 fusible link fire/smoke dampers, as well as provide programming services to integrate the dampers with the facility's Simplex 4100ES Fire Alarm Control Unit. The vendor must supply NICET Level 2 or Level 3 licensed staff to perform the work. Quotes must be submitted by the due date listed in BidBuy, the state's procurement portal.
The RFQ provides pricing information, including unit prices and extended prices, for the fire/smoke damper inspection and programming services. The selected vendor must be able to provide all required supplies and services and offer the lowest price. Quotes are valid for 90 days and must include all expenses. The state reserves the right to reject all offers and to cancel the RFQ up to 72 hours in advance. The vendor must also adhere to COVID-19 protections outlined in recent Executive Orders.
