About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by NASA Shared Services Center at Stennis Space Center for the manufacture and assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) designated COBRA2-100.
The contractor must fabricate 8-layer PCBs measuring 10.1 x 5.5 inches with 1-ounce finished copper weight, manufactured to IPC-6012 Class 3 standards and assembled per IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards. Specifications include materials per IPC-2221 with a glass transition temperature of 140°C or greater, precise hole positioning within 0.005-inch radius tolerance, and layer-to-layer registration within 0.007 inches diameter. For the 50 production units, PCBs require yellow solder mask (RGB 255, 255, 0) with black silkscreen on both sides; prototype units require white solder mask with black silkscreen. All PCBs must undergo 250VDC HIPOT testing and flying probe testing prior to assembly, with certificates of compliance and test reports required for each delivery lot. The deliverables include 5 prototype PCBs (3 weeks from award), optional prototype revisions (3 weeks from design receipt), and 50 production units (5 weeks from final design confirmation). Quotes are due by September 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. CT, must remain valid for 30 days, and should include two points of contact, CAGE Code/UEI, ARO delivery time, and FOB Destination pricing. This procurement is set aside for small business, requires registration at SAM.gov, uses NAICS code 333998, and offers NET 30 payment terms. All fabrication and assembly files are controlled as EAR99/CUI and available only by encrypted email request.
