About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base for the installation of a Honeywell Vindicator alarm system across multiple buildings. The RFQ (Number FA466125Q0135) was released on 15 September 2025, with quotes due by 22 September 2025 at 4:00 p.m. CDT. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a desired delivery schedule of 60 calendar days after contract award, and a maximum allowable delivery of 90 calendar days. The procurement is not set aside for any specific small business category, and the NAICS code is 561621 with a small business size standard of $25.0 million. Evaluation will be based on a best-value trade-off between price, technical acceptability, and past performance, with the government reserving the right to select other than the lowest-priced quote.
Offerors must submit three volumes: a completed Pricing Schedule, a Technical Approach, and Past Performance Information. Quotes must remain valid for 90 days and be emailed to two specific government contacts. The project requires the contractor to provide all labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, and incidentals for installing the alarm system. The RFQ includes seven attachments: FAR Provisions and Clauses, Wage Determination, Sections L & M, Sole-source Justification and Authorization, Statement of Work, Floor Plans, and a Pricing Schedule. Questions about the solicitation were to be submitted by 17 September 2025, with an amendment to be issued answering all received questions.
