About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by Events DC, the district government agency for the District of Columbia, for Closed Caption Services in fiscal year 2027. Events DC is seeking a qualified contractor to provide closed captioning services for events and functions. The RFQ outlines the scope of work required for the contractor to deliver comprehensive captioning solutions, though specific event quantities, frequency, or volume metrics are not detailed in the available documentation. The solicitation establishes a formal bidding process with specified response and due dates for interested vendors to submit their quotations. The contract term and any renewal options available to Events DC are established within the RFQ framework, though exact duration details require review of the complete bid documents.

Pricing and payment terms for the closed captioning services are subject to the quotation requirements outlined in the RFQ, with compensation structures likely tied to service delivery metrics such as number of events, hours of captioning, or project-based fees. The solicitation may include set-asides for disadvantaged business enterprises or local vendors consistent with District of Columbia procurement policies. Information regarding any incumbent contractor, current service provider performance, or transition requirements would be specified in the bid documents. Funding for this contract is provided through Events DC's operational budget allocated for FY27, with payment obligations detailed in the contractor's proposal acceptance and subsequent service delivery agreements.
