About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections (IDJC) for staff clothing items for its Juvenile Correction Centers in Lewiston, Nampa, and Saint Anthony, as well as its Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) academy. The RFQ covers a variety of clothing items such as baseball caps, polo shirts, sweatshirts, and t-shirts, detailing the required specifications for each item. Vendors must provide pricing for embroidery and screen-printing as needed. The initial contract term is 1 year, with the possibility of up to 5 years of renewals. Written questions are due by November 14, 2023 and quotes are due by November 29, 2023. Award will be made either to the lowest total cost vendor or to the lowest cost vendor by region.

The pricing terms require fully burdened costs, FOB destination, with no additional fees allowed. IDJC reserves the right to add, delete, or modify item specifications during the contract term. Vendors must indicate if any screen-printing will be conducted outside of Idaho, as a 10% premium will be added for evaluation purposes if so. IDJC will decide whether to include the jacket line item in the award at its discretion. The vendor must provide detailed descriptions of their embroidery and screen-printing pricing methodologies to be used throughout the contract term.
