About this file
This is a supplemental questionnaire attachment for RFP S-10700-00015314 for pressure washing services for state-owned buildings in Oregon, involving the Department of Justice and multiple state facilities across Salem and Portland areas. The solicitation requires proposers to provide detailed explanations of their cleaning processes and pressure washing methodologies for specialized surfaces and locations at designated buildings. Mandatory pre-proposal in-person site visits are a required condition of proposal submission, as outlined in RFP Section 4.2. All pages of the supplemental questionnaire must be submitted with the bid submission, with responses numbered according to site number for each building.
The document specifies cleaning requirements for two identified sites: the Archives Building in the Salem area, which features wood decking requiring pressure washing at lower PSI with soft wash techniques using hot water and soft brushes applied multiple times to achieve desired cleanliness without damaging artwork or wooden surfaces; and the Portland Crime Lab in the Portland area, which contains concrete with artwork or top coating requiring similar lower PSI pressure washing and soft wash procedures with hot water and soft brushes to prevent damage to artwork or protective coatings. Proposers must demonstrate their understanding of appropriate pressure levels, cleaning procedures, and material preservation techniques for various surfaces including concrete, asphalt, paver stones, cobblestones, and granite.
