The specified 2x2 Armstrong Optima #3251 Optima ceiling tile and 9/16” Armstrong Silhouette grid do not meet this requirement. Please confirm these products are still intended and acceptable even though they do not meet the recycled content requirement.

Response: Product listed is the basis of design and the recycled content must meet the requirements of the current version of P-100, Section 3.7.27. Current version has been modified due to lack of material availability for 80% recycled content. If products cannot to found to meet the requirements, a waiver will be required.

Question 2: Detail 4 / A6.5 calls for 2” perimeter wall angle. Please confirm that industry standard 7/8” wall angle with BERC2 perimeter clips to meet seismic requirements is acceptable in lieu of 2” wall angle.

Response: Contractor must follow local code requirements.

Question 5: Please provide a staging area for this project.

Response: Contractor is required to coordinate the staging area with the construction work. The property boundary and area of construction is identified on the cover sheet. No additional staging area is available outside the property area.

Clarify who has to attend the meetings ( all the crew members or a representative) and clarify how long the meetings will take as well.

Response: All crew members shall attend the weekly meetings. If a new member starts after a meeting was held, they should go through the safety protocols prior to starting work onsite and if something specific arises onsite between meetings, it must be presented to all members. Meeting time is based on Contractor's list of safety items to discuss.
