About this file

This is Amendment No. 1 to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The amendment, dated August 13, 2026, responds to questions submitted by interested parties regarding RFP-384785-GMG for Electronic Components for LLRF LO, REF, AND CLK Distribution. The original solicitation was issued on July 27, 2026, with an opening date of August 17, 2026. Bidders must acknowledge this amendment prior to the opening date by separate email, and any changes to previously submitted bids may be made by email referencing both the solicitation number and amendment number, provided the submission is received before the opening deadline.

The amendment addresses two key bidder inquiries. First, regarding manufacturer part numbers for the 34 line items listed in Attachment A, the response clarifies that Mouser is the manufacturer, with specific distinctions provided for Lines 18 and 19 (identified as Ultra Low Noise Figure at 0.5 dB at 1GHz and Ultra-Low Noise Figure at 1.9 dB at 2 GHz, respectively). Second, concerning the award structure, the government confirms this is a single award contract, meaning bidders must propose on all 34 lines rather than on a line-item basis. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged. Amendment No 1

RPF 384785-GMG

Questions:

1. Manufacturer part numbers. Attachment A lists 34 lines by description and quantity only, without manufacturer names or part numbers. Several descriptions are not specific enough to identify a unique item — for example, Lines 18 and 19 carry identical descriptions ("RF Amplifier BROADBAND AMPL / SMA / RoHS") with different quantities, which indicates two distinct part numbers. Would you please provide the manufacturer and manufacturer part number for each of the 34 lines?

Response: Mouser is the manufacturer.

Part # for line 18 - Ultra Low Noise Figure, 0.5 dB at 1GHz Part # for line 19 - Ultra-Low Noise Figure, 1.9 dB at 2 GHz

2. Partial award. Does FFDG intend to make a single award for all 34 lines, or will award be made on a line-item basis? Lines 26 through 34 (SMA plug-to-plug .085 assemblies) are directly within our manufacturing scope. If line-item award is permitted, we would propose on those lines.

Response: This is a single award.
