System Monitoring Monitoring and tracking of PV system performance and providing summaries of Renewable Energy (RE) production is an important element of this RFP. The City of Orlando utilizes an energy management platform known as Atrius. All PV systems shall be integrated with Atrius using an Application Programming Interface (API) between the system’s inverter and Atrius to ensure accurate PV production data is delivered for City reporting. The City has previously used Solar Edge inverters, however, if Solar Edge inverters are not used then the Atrius integration will be accomplished using an Obvius, or similarly approved submeter device so that accurate PV production data is not compromised.

Operation and Maintenance of System The successful respondent will be required to provide operation and maintenance of each solar electric system from the system start-up date to the end of the contract. Operations and maintenance services include:

• Online monitoring of PV system production and performance compared to the system’s designed PV production performance.

• Ability to evaluate and resolve PV system performance issues.

• Provide monthly System Performance Reports comparing actual production to predicted production.

• Preventative maintenance and inspections to identify and fix problems before they occur, including infrared photography for hot spots, manufacturer recommended maintenance, hardware torque checks, and array cleaning, if required.

• Prior to system start-up, the successful respondent shall supply City of Orlando with two (2) copies of all Component Product Data and Component Operation and Maintenance manuals.

The information shall be sufficient for City of Orlando to evaluate and ensure appropriate O&M is being completed over the life of the system. Examples of components include solar panels, inverters, racking systems, conduit, etc. Project as-builts that detail location of all above and underground utilities and components shall be submitted within 30 days of system start-up.
