About this file

This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the City of Cartersville, Georgia, for the procurement and installation of furnishings for City Hall. The City seeks qualified vendors to provide furniture and seating that meets functional needs, aesthetic goals, and long-term durability expectations. Vendors will work from City-provided furniture layout floor plans and generalized product lists organized by floor to develop complete proposals with itemized quotes. The project encompasses multiple floors and functional areas within City Hall, with construction anticipated to begin in February 2026 and substantial completion with move-in expected in March 2027. Key dates include a questions deadline of Tuesday, March 3, 2026; the City's responses to questions on Thursday, March 5, 2026; proposals due Friday, March 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST; and selection and contract award on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Vendors must account for lead times and delivery windows within the overall project timeline and coordinate ordering, delivery, and installation accordingly.

Proposals will be evaluated on five criteria: Product Quality, Materials, and Craftsmanship (40%); Compliance with Layouts and Product Intent (20%); Pricing and Cost Competitiveness (15%); Timeline and Delivery Schedule (15%); and Overall Value to the City (10%). The City demonstrates preference for solid, durable materials including solid wood and steel, handcrafted items made or sourced in the United States, and products reflecting a modern industrial aesthetic that acknowledges Cartersville's history. Required proposal elements include complete itemized pricing, product specifications, material descriptions, construction details, product documentation or cut sheets, warranty information, photographs of previously completed installations, and project references with contact information. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Proposals should be submitted electronically in PDF format to Logan Bagley, Public Relations & Communications Manager, at lbagley@cartersvillega.gov.
