About this file

This is an Addendum #2 (Questions and Answers document) for RFP PR-26-002, issued by the City of Cartersville, Georgia, for City Hall Furnishings at 10 N Public Square, Cartersville, GA 30120. The project encompasses office furniture for standard and executive offices, workstations, service window areas, conference rooms, council/courtroom seating, breakroom furniture, and specialty rooms including a PR media production space. Key specifications indicate a preference for quality solid wood and steel materials, height-adjustable desks with modesty panels, stackable audience seating without casters, and custom media production tables. The City intends to award the contract to a single vendor and anticipates an award date of Wednesday, April 1, 2026, with building construction completion estimated 13 months from the addendum date (approximately June 2027). Installation scheduling, delivery logistics, phasing options, and site-specific coordination details remain flexible and will be finalized with the selected vendor post-award.

Pricing should not reflect any specific government contract vehicles such as Georgia State or OMNIA contracts. The City has no preferred manufacturers or established furniture standards and is open to alternative material suggestions meeting quality durability requirements. Installation shall occur in accordance with the General Contractor's established operating hours, with the awarded vendor responsible for all trash removal and packaging disposal. No loading dock will be available; deliveries will utilize two passenger elevators with dimensions and weight limits to be coordinated later. The vendor must maintain standard insurance coverage for delivery and installation services, with floor protection requirements to be determined during the coordination phase. Temporary onsite storage availability, delivery truck size restrictions, and other logistics details will be addressed with the awarded vendor following contract award.
