This is a pricing sheet for Request for Proposal #26100 issued by Greenville County, South Carolina for pool chemicals and maintenance services across twelve county-owned pools and water features. The RFP requests unit pricing for nine chemical products (calcium hypochlorite, sodium bicarbonate, algae killer, cyanuric acid, muriatic acid, Palin Test Tablets, granular chlorine shock, chlorine neutralizer, and black algae killer), hourly rates for routine maintenance services during normal business hours (7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday) and emergency maintenance services with 24-hour response capability, and a materials cost markup percentage. The contract will commence July 1, 2026, and is structured as a one-year initial term with four optional annual renewal periods. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for April 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.; questions must be submitted by April 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.; sealed electronic proposals are due May 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.; and contract award is anticipated May 15, 2026, following a May 5-14 review period.
Pricing must be submitted on net 30-day payment terms with unit costs for each chemical product, hourly rates for both routine and emergency maintenance services, and a materials cost markup percentage; no specific budget range or estimated award value is disclosed. The County will award the contract to a single source contractor and evaluates proposals on seven equally weighted criteria at 14.3% each: responsiveness to the RFP, experience with similar projects, cost, references, performance with commercial applications, response time capability, and knowledge of NSF-approved commercial applications. Contractors must demonstrate extensive experience managing high-capacity commercial aquatic facilities serving 500 or more bathers per hour, obtain NSF-approved chemicals and equipment compatible with existing systems, provide staff training, and obtain all applicable licenses and permits. Required insurance includes $1,000,000 per occurrence comprehensive general liability coverage, $1,000,000 per occurrence automobile liability coverage, and statutory worker's compensation with employer's liability limits, with no bonding requirement. Bidders must also submit a completed Substitute Form W-9 for tax identification and payment processing purposes.
