About this file
This is a Request for Proposal issued by the National Institutes of Health seeking design, fabrication, shipping, and installation services for primate social housing and testing facilities at its Bethesda, Maryland campus. Key details include requirements for five social housing habitats consisting of home cages and connecting squeeze-back units, plus one group testing module; eight animal transfer doors; and four milestones for funding and installation. The RFP specifies design concepts are required for evaluation, with testing module installation dependent on approval. The small business set-aside is for NAICS 332999 with a 750 employee size standard. Proposals are due by July 24, 2020 to john.alozie@nih.gov and evaluation will consider technical merit and price.
