STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

DMEA 23-3C0

January 11, 2023 Project Engineer: Chris Powell, DMEA/MEAC, (916) 999-2735

Project Manager: Alonso Camacho, DMEA/MEAC, (916) 23-1578 Contracting Officer Representative: AJ Sandu, DMEA/MEAA, (916) 231-1515

1.0 SCOPE: Obtain engineering support for F-15 DTM-II (Data Transfer Module-II) Hardware and Software Design Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) and F-15 DRMM (DTM-II Removable Memory Module) Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA) required for USAF F-15 Validation and Verification activities. Produce DRMM articles to support audits and first article inspection requirements.

1.1 TITLE: F-15 DTM-II and DRMM Hardware and Software PCA, FCA, and MRA Support

1.2 APPLICABILITY: USAF is deploying DMEA’s DTM-II and DRMM solution for the F-15 domestic and foreign fleets. DMEA designed the DRMM and provided Firmware support to Boeing and other USAF/Contractor entities pertaining to the F-15 DTM-II System for the last 5 years. USAF and F-15 Operational requirements required these audits to lock down the design prior to deploying the equipment to the F-15 users and entering into production contracts for the manufacturing and sustainment of the DTM-II and DRMM systems.

1.3 BACKGROUND: DMEA is working to complete and close-out the worksheets generated, and respective corrective action items, of USAF’s required F-15 DTM-II (Data Transfer Module – II) Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audit (PCA); to include acquisition of production representative units to baseline and close-out Hardware (HW) PCA. With successful completion of these audits, the F-15 DTM-II System, and DMEA’s F-15 DRMM (DTM-II Removable Memory Module) will be ready for production and operational use on the F-15 fleet(s). Additionally, the USAF needs to perform a Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA) of the DRMM Manufacturer to ensure all manufacturing issues and risks are known and mitigated prior to moving forward with Production contracts. The scope of the Configuration Audits, and the Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA), is substantial, and all the Engineering tasks need to be completed in accordance with the updated and expanded audit schedules.

1.4 PURPOSE: Support the resolution/close-out of Corrective Actions derived from the HW FCA, PCA, and MRA activities with the DRMM Designer/Manufacturer: Printed Circuit Corp (PCC). In addition, provide support for the up and coming Software (SW) FCA/PCA activities.
