About this file
This document is an Attachment C - Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan for RFP # 62900-00005323, the 2023 ODF Wildfire Prevention and Investigation Symposium Training Conference, which is a state and local contract opportunity in Oregon involving the jurisdictions of Marion County and the City of Salem. The attachment requires bidders to indicate if they are a certified minority-owned, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, or emerging small business, and to describe the steps they will take to solicit such certified firms as subcontractors if awarded the contract. Bidders must also provide a list of certified and non-certified firms they have had contractual relationships with in the past two years. The attachment states that certified firms must have an equal opportunity to participate in contracts financed with state funds. If awarded the contract, the successful bidder would be willing to report the identity and value of each subcontract to the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID).
The document does not provide details on pricing, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient information beyond the outreach plan requirements. The focus is on ensuring equitable participation of certified disadvantaged business enterprises in the 2023 ODF Wildfire Prevention and Investigation Symposium Training Conference procurement.
