About this file
This is an RFP addendum issued by the Michigan Department of State for Vision Screeners (Request for Proposal No. 260000002455). The addendum modifies the original RFP to clarify procurement requirements and timelines. Key modifications include a revised question-and-answer period, an extended due date for proposal responses, and updates to the scope of work regarding equipment specifications and warranty requirements. The addendum permits bidders to propose equivalent brands that meet the specified performance standards for the vision screeners and reserves the State's right to request product samples during the evaluation process.
The scope updates require contractors to provide a two-year Limited Manufacturer Warranty that transfers to the State as the end user. Any costs associated with repairs or maintenance beyond the two-year warranty period must be itemized and detailed in Schedule B of the proposal. The addendum also references updates to Schedule B, though the specific details of those updates are indicated through highlighted modifications in the complete RFP document.
