The amendment updates the RFP schedule of events and clarifies key requirements for respondents. The pre-response conference is scheduled for July 16, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. central time, with a Notice of Intent to Respond deadline of July 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Written questions and comments are due July 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., with state responses provided by August 5, 2026. Proposals are due August 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., followed by technical evaluations completed by August 31, 2026, and cost proposal scoring on September 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The state will release a Notice of Intent to Award on September 8, 2026, with the protest period ending September 15, 2026. The contractor signature deadline is September 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

The amendment clarifies that respondents must already be authorized to administer the National Home Inspector Examination developed by the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors at the time of proposal submission, not at contract award or implementation. Respondents must provide a statement and documentation confirming current authorization to administer the examination as part of their RFP response. All other terms and conditions of the original RFP remain in full force and effect.
