About this file
This is a Notification of Cancelation issued by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission for RFP 325-476 Fort Worden State Park Campus Buildings Appraisal project, dated December 17, 2024. The original RFP sought appraisal services for seventy-six buildings at Fort Worden State Park, specifically requesting valuation of fee simple interest in the properties, including site utilities and associated parking for each building.
The cancelation is due to the Washington State Freeze on Hiring, Services Contracts, and Goods and Equipment Purchases, which has created budgetary constraints preventing the project from moving forward. The notification indicates that if funding becomes available in the future, a new RFP will be issued and all interested parties will be notified. Questions regarding the cancelation can be directed to contracts@parks.wa.gov. The document includes the Washington State Parks logo and is marked as Competition No. 325-476.

RFP 325-476 FORT WORDEN STATE PARK CAMPUS BUILDINGS APPRAISAL
ATTENTION TO PLANHOLDERS OF RECORD AND INTERESTED PARTIES.
We regret to inform you that the Request for Proposals RFP 325-476 for the Fort Worden
State Park Campus Buildings Appraisal project is canceled before the proposal submission deadline. This decision follows the Washington State Freeze on Hiring, Services Contracts, and Goods and Equipment Purchases, which has resulted in budgetary constraints that prevent us from proceeding with the project at this time.
Due to the financial limitations imposed by this freeze, the necessary funds are unavailable to continue with this solicitation. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate the time, effort, and resources you have invested in preparing your submission.
Should circumstances change and funding become available to proceed with the project in the future, a new RFP will be issued, and all interested parties will be notified accordingly.
If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding this cancelation, please do not hesitate to contact us at contracts@parks.wa.gov.
We appreciate your understanding and continued interest in working with us.
